The Sunset Mountains comprise two rugged mountain ranges, divided by the Far Hills, forming a towering natural barrier between the Eastern and Western Heartlands and marking the eastern edge of Sunset Vale. This mountainous region is home to diverse tribes and a mix of humanoid inhabitants. Among these are several dwarven clans who have established strongholds in the region, many of whom engage in trade with the nearby town of Easting. Beyond the dwarves, the mountains shelter a range of beings adapted to the harsh terrain, including yetis, gnolls, ogres, and even some elusive drow, each carving out their own existence in this imposing landscape.
