The Triboar Trail

The Triboar Trail is a rugged trade route cutting through the Savage Frontier, connecting the town of Triboar to Conyberry and extending westward to meet the High Road along the coast. The trail is a vital but perilous link between these settlements, often traveled by merchants, adventurers, and settlers braving the untamed wilds of the Sword Coast North.

The surrounding region, also known as the Triboar Trail, features a diverse landscape of rolling foothills and sparsely wooded plains. It stretches between the Sword Mountains to the south and the Neverwinter Wood to the north, forming a natural corridor through this rugged terrain.

The trail and its surrounding area have earned several colloquial names over the years, including the “Triboar Cutoff” and the “Cony Gap”, reflecting its importance as a shortcut and passage between key locations. Despite its strategic value, the trail is fraught with danger, as marauding bands of goblins, bandits, and other hostile creatures frequently patrol the area, preying on unwary travelers.
