Like the rest of New York City, Manhattan has been pummeled to the ground by numerous missile attacks during the Last World War.

The city that never sleeps is now a shadow of its former self. The Great War left New York a ruined Badside, with skyscrapers reduced to debris and the iconic skyline now a broken silhouette against the horizon. Lower Manhattan, once a thriving center for culture and finance, has now become a forgotten zone, overtaken by remnants of old tech, dangerous gangs, and feral wildlife.
