In the shattered districts, the Syndicate’s enforcers patrol the streets, their faces hidden behind masks and high-tech armor.

The Commonwealth Faction, a splinter group of former government officials, has set up a rival seat of power in the city, seeking to restore order and rebuild Australia’s fractured society. Led by Governor Emily Carver, they claim to be working for the good of the people, but their true agenda is shrouded in secrecy. Many suspect they are more concerned with securing the resources of Melbourne for their own benefit than any genuine desire for reform.

Supernatural Forces at Play

Melbourne is a city where the fabric of reality itself seems to be unraveling. One such group is the The Black Lotus, a secret society of occultists who believe that by opening the rift between worlds, they can bring forth the ultimate being—a god-like entity from the depths of the void. They seek to harness the power of the Necronomicon and reshape the world in their image. They are opposed by the Aether Knights, a group of rogue mystics who seek to protect the world from the forces that would tear it apart.

The Struggle for Resources

Amidst the chaos, Melbourne’s vital resource—Aether Crystals, rare minerals capable of powering advanced technology and amplifying psychic abilities—has become the center of conflict. Both the Syndicate and the Commonwealth Faction are fighting for control of the city’s remaining stockpiles, while smaller groups like the Red Suns have begun mining the surrounding countryside for hidden deposits. These crystals are the lifeblood of Melbourne, and whoever controls them controls the future of the city.

At the fringes of the city, the Wastelanders, a ragtag group of survivors, fight to carve out a life for themselves amidst the ruins. They are skilled in scavenging and recycling, taking whatever they can from the abandoned districts of Melbourne to keep their families fed and alive.
