A gift from the goddess, Tymora. When the Halflings founded the village of Oakwood Dale, they took an acorn and coated it in many layers of gold. They called upon the goddess, Tymora, to bless the acorn. She heard their prayers and blessed the acorn.

Tymora infused the Golden Acorn with luck and said if the Halflings planted the acorn, it would make all Halflings able to reroll any 1 rolled on the d20 for an attack roll, ability check, or saving throw.

If a Halfling is attuned to the Golden Acorn and carry it on their person, they may utilize the rest of the magic imbued by Tymora.

The acorn contains 3 charges that return in full each day at dawn. The holder of the acorn can use it to cast any of the following spells as an action for one charge at base level.

  • Aura of Purity (C)
  • Aid
  • Beacon of Hope (C)
  • Circle of Power (C)
  • Pass Without a Trace (C)

The Halflings decided that sharing Tymora's luck with all Halflings was better than only one Halfling benefitting from the acorn's magic so they planted it in the center of their newfound settlement of Oakwood Dale. A great oak tree gree above the spot and the Halflings have been a lucky race, blessed with Tymora's gift of luck.

Oakwood Dale was attacked. the great oak burnt, and the Golden Acorn stolen. There were reports of demons being involved. The Halflings no longer have their luck.
