Daran Edermath

-A fit, silver-haired half-elf well over a hundred years old.
-Retired marshal in the lands of the Dragon Coast. When he retired, he returned to the Neverwinter region which was his original home.
-Became the town alchemist while running a successful orchard. Tourists come from all around to taste his cider, but he is known across the land for the freshness of his pies ever since Volothamp Geddarm published an article about Phandalin.

-Rumors:
--Since Hamun is a Necromancer, it is said that the apples that are used in the pies have been brought to peak freshness through necromancy.
--Helped Sprocket brew his mystery potion, but when skills were checked, lycanthropy was an unintended side effect.
--Toblen Stonehill believes Daran to be a member of the Order of the Gauntlet since he sees an abundance of their insignias associated with Daran's patrons.
--Friends with Reidoth, the druid encountered in Thundertree Village
