The Ugliest Maid Inn - **** High Priced - Marta Hasdeu - The Uggliest Maid is lavishly adorned with furnishings from the Zarius Dynasty, and Zhao Fe.  Bright colors, curtains rugs and many couches with large heavily stuffed pillows are the first things anyone sees when entering the common room.  Drinks are served with belly dancing maids who are anything but ugly.  Once a week on Iounday her husband Sahura a Bard by trade but retired will play for their patrons.  Most of her patrons are ship captains and first mates as her rates are high.  

The Fiery Bunny  - Brothel - owner Sina Pasdar, a highly respected woman from Andalar who is well known for helping the poor especially the people of the "Tents".  She is also the head of the Silver Petals, the thieves guild of New Saya, and it is rumored that she has more combat-capable people than all of the governors combined.

The Tents - when immigrants come to Alshir they must pay a tax of 10gp to Mettius or have agriculture skills.  If they cannot pay or know nothing about growing food or spices then they are sent to the Tents.  The conditions of the Tents or horrendous with dysentery running rampant.  Agrippa has guards bring out a pot of porridge each day with each inhabitant permitted one bowl.   Surprisingly only new residents of the Tents try to steal this porridge from the others, something they learn not to do quickly when Sina's people pay them a visit.
