Hethar

a small quiet village in a swamp on the coast. It's hot, humid, and especially rainy most of the year. The villagers are polite and friendly. They have a strong tourist population which comes for the winter, The Discreet Dandelion Inn has  a spectacular winter festival which many come from miles around to see and participate. 

The governing body of the village is a village council made up of chosen officials who are hand picked every summer by the royal family. The royal family has not actual power in the city beside picking the council that being said this does not lead to balance set of power but the balance comes in the elected mayor who the people vote for every other summer. This mayor has the right to veto any ruling, law, or decree that the council creates within their given years as a mayor.

There are two temples in the village which seems like a lot but it describes the distinct cultures in the village. You have the pegans who worship Grumbar and the holy evangelist who worship Helm.
