Changyahn

Population:  Approximately 9900; primarily human, some elf and half-elf.

Government:  Two factions play off of each other for control of the city, a consortium of wealthy merchants and a noble aristocrat, the dwarf lord Shangiv Naji.

Notable Places:

1.       The Crossed Blades: A neglected adventurer's tavern, which has one door here and another in the Danab Vale.

1. Noosha Nouri: Male Human Druid. Noosha is pleasant in appearance, with straight brown hair and gray eyes. He wears leather armor and wields a spear. Noosha speaks with a deep voice.
2. Kima Elzan: Female Elf Mercenary. Kima has a narrow face, with auburn hair and large gray eyes. She wears studded leather and wields a spear and short bow. Kima is searching for an ancient artifact of evil.
3. Souma Rinchi: Female Human Assassin. Souma has a narrow face, with golden hair and dark amber eyes. She wears leather armor and wields a club and darts. Souma has an animal companion, a poisonous toad named Pedra.
4. Sima Abeh: Female Elf Artist. Sima is slender, with auburn hair and light gray eyes. She wears modest garments and a sling of vials and potions.
5. Farza Soti: Male Human Assassin. Farza has a narrow face, with brown hair and sharp gray eyes. He wears leather armor and wields a poisoned long sword and dagger. Farza is combative and greedy.

Armorer's Borough

Notable Places:

1. A tall monolith of rune-carved stone, said to entomb an ancient and powerful demon.

1. Mini Ebteh: Male Human Priest. Mini is elegant in appearance, with blonde hair and amber eyes. He wears tailored clothing and a fox fur cape. Mini is generous and gentle.
2. Lehou Davi: Female Human Peasant. Lehou has thin silver hair and blue eyes. She wears travel-stained clothing and several small tools hang from her belt. Lehou speaks with a deep voice.
3. Shoncha Shushmi: Female Human Thief. Shoncha has black hair and sharp amber eyes. She wears leather armor and wields a long sword and dagger. Shoncha seeks revenge against the sister who betrayed her.

Greater Castle Ward

Notable Places:

1. Mutli's Masonry: A modest stonemason's workshop, built around a shrine of Niyoosha Poori, Lord of Earth.
2. Mubi's Arsenal: A two-storey timber and brick building, the workshop of a female human weaponsmith named Mina Mubi. Once a month, one of her weapons mysteriously vanishes from the workshop and is used to murder someone in town. No-one has tracked the weapons back to her yet, but she is near to panic.
3. The Shrine of Gallagher: A bronze statue of Gallagher, Lord of Alchemy, said to be sometimes visited by the god himself.

1. Zada Arir: Female Human Professional. Zada is overweight, with matted gray hair and green eyes. She wears well-made clothing and several pouches hang from her belt.
2. Souzy Amman: Female Human Servant. Souzy has straight red hair and brown eyes. She wears plain clothing and carries a long knife. Souzy is searching for her missing daughter.
3. Behri Mumti: Male Human Assassin. Behri is rugged in appearance, with black hair and soft green eyes. He wears leather armor and wields a long sword and dagger. Behri seeks revenge against the sister who betrayed him.
4. Farha Dizhi: Male Human Ranger. Farha is fey in appearance, with golden hair and narrow amber eyes. He wears leather armor and wields a military pick.

Market

Notable NPCs:

1. Farri Pouri: Female Human Peddler. Farri is short, with thick red hair and blue eyes. She wears travel-stained clothing and an iron amulet. Farri is known for her prowess at riddles.
2. Sada Mayouni: Female Human Slaver. Sada is beastly in appearance, with matted auburn hair and gray eyes. She wears sturdy clothing and riding boots. Its hard to picture Sada as an adventurer, but she wears an alchemist's pouch on her belt.
3. Lila Hakpour: Female Human Guard. Lila has a narrow face, with short auburn hair and light brown eyes. She wears scale mail and wields a mace and shield. Lila was once a thief, and still keeps a fine steel dagger at her belt.

Unicorn's Ward

Notable Places:

1. The Guildhall: A large building of timber and brick walls, once an aristocrat's manor. It contains a large meeting hall and several smaller rooms, and is shared amongst several local merchant guilds.

1. Sami Arih: Male Human Assassin. Sami has curly white hair and green eyes, and a short moustache. He wears leather armor and wields a poisoned club and sling. Sami is hunting the vampire who murdered his family.
2. Layeha Nazi: Female Human Paladin. Layeha has a narrow face, with white hair and brown eyes. She wears plate mail and wields a bastard sword and shield. Layeha is impossibly lucky.
3. Rangiv Anizh: Male Human Scofflaw. Rangiv is wretched in appearance, with brown hair and amber eyes. He wears well-made clothing and several small tools hang from his belt. Rangiv is coarse and destructive.
4. Sanjaf Shari: Male Human Druid. Sanjaf has white hair and dark green eyes, and large ears. He wears leather armor and wields a quarterstaff and sling.
