Golsa

This kingdom has one of the widest rivers, the Srovė Nutekėti. It is as if all rain that falls into the desert up the cliff-face flows out of this river without absorbing into the sand.  Many come her for the amazingly sweet water, straight from the river. A large 80 foot cliff separates Golsa and Antassi as a real physical border.

The Capitol: Tenwaar, The Wench city: Milivi, The Southern port: Andeče, and the Elven city of Elknitsa.

The kingdom of Golsa, to the east, is a place of striking contrasts—the majestic cliff that rises sharply from the plains, interspersed with fortified castles and walled cities that echo with the clash of swords and the fervent chants of devotion. Golsa’s architecture reflects its history of conquest and cultural blending, with Moorish-style fortresses standing beside Catholic cathedrals. Grand alcázars are centers of power, decorated with intricate stonework, tapestries, and soaring arches that speak of Golsa’s mixed heritage of conquest and faith.

Golsa’s knights and warriors are known for their unyielding bravery and dedication to chivalry, often driven by a sense of religious duty. They fight under the banner of the red lion, symbolizing both strength and sacrifice. Golsa’s Inquisition holds power over the spiritual lives of its people, ensuring that both nobility and commoners follow the path laid out by the kingdom’s faith.

The kingdom is frequently embroiled in conflict—both against the desert raiders from Antassi and in its own internal struggles, as nobles vie for favor at court and control over territories. The kingdom’s elite warriors, known as the Order of the Lion, defend the realm’s borders with devotion and fierce discipline, often leading campaigns to reclaim territories lost to invaders or fend off incursions from the desert.

Despite the constant state of tension, Golsa is rich in cultural traditions—flamenco-like music and dance, vivid festivals, and a thriving artisan class known for their steelwork and fine leather goods. It is a land of deep passions, fierce loyalty, and endless conflict, where faith and steel rule the day.
