- The Shrine of Kaki Teri: A stone niche enshrining an idol of Kaki Teri, Lady of Shields, said to be sometimes visited by the goddess hersSpirit Folk.

- Sara Micho: Female Korobokuru Bushi. Micho is exceptionally beautiful, with curly brown hair and soft hazel eyes. She wears studded leather and wields a mace and shield. Micho is hunting those who knew her in a previous life of crime.
- Taka Kage: Male Korobokuru Alchemist. Kage has uneven brown hair and gray eyes. He wears expensive clothing and a silver amulet. Kage secretly serves Moraie, an ancient god of trickery.

- The Clockwork: A large pyramid of rotating gears and ticking escapements, crafted from brass and inscribed with incoherent labyrinths. No-one seems to know who created it, nor when, nor its purpose.
- Sako's Carvings: The workshop of a female woodcarver named Nara Sako, known for her weirdly life-like wooden dolls.
