Hollowgulch

Population:  Approximately 13000; primarily elf, some human.

Ah, Andras, the kingdom of pure indulgence, where every whim is catered to and the pleasures of life flow like endless rivers of honey and wine. Hollowgulch shows the opulence that is the perfect crown jewel of the kingdom.  The very air smells of sweet confections, and the streets are paved not with cobblestones but with soft, velvet-like moss that cushions every step. A land of plenty,—where excess is not a sin but a celebration of life's finest luxuries. 

At the heart of Andras reign the King and Queen, a duo whose lavish lifestyles are the stuff of legend. The King, Wyn Adran, a rotund figure draped in the finest silks, with rings on every finger and a jeweled goblet seemingly always in hand, is as magnanimous as he is self-indulgent. He is often found reclining on a grand throne of plush cushions, offering royal decrees that seem more like invitations to endless feasts, jousting games for sport, or grand masquerades in the royal gardens.

The Queen, Issamedha Adran, equally adorned in luxurious garments, is a vision of opulence. Her gowns shimmer with enchanted threads, and her hair is adorned with crowns of edible gold leaf that glitter in the sunlight. Unlike her more boisterous king, she is a creature of subtle, refined excess. She speaks in soft tones, but her influence over the kingdom’s indulgent customs is undeniable. When she wishes for something—whether it be a new breed of peacock or a fountain that flows with rose-scented wine—it is swiftly created, and the kingdom rejoices in her satisfaction.

The royal palace is a palace of delights, with tables laden at all hours with exotic fruits, delicate pastries, and fountains of champagne. The halls echo with music and laughter as nobles and commoners alike are invited to indulge in nightly revelries. The King and Queen of Andras are beloved by their people, not only for their generosity but for the world they have crafted—a kingdom where work is minimal, and pleasure is the priority.

Even the land itself seems to bend to their will: orchards bear fruit year-round, rivers run with sweetened milk, and roasted game practically leaps from the trees, ready to be served. Time in Andras moves at a leisurely pace, encouraging its inhabitants to linger long over meals, to revel in the comforts of fine company, and to surrender entirely to life’s pleasures.

But beneath the extravagant exterior, whispers occasionally suggest that such decadence cannot last forever. Some say the royal coffers are bottomless, fueled by mysterious sources of wealth, while others wonder how long a kingdom built on endless indulgence can stave off the shadow of want. Yet, for now, Andras basks in its golden age of excess, a place where every day feels like a grand feast, and tomorrow’s worries are left to fade into the wine-soaked night.
