Malik is an outcast Mahkim shaman. He has befriended a giant crocodile named "Riva" and has built his home and shop upon her back, much as the Mahkim built their settlement on the back of Ravin.

Malik sells potions, both magical and alchemical, narcotics, rare spell components, and of course, various alcohols. He is also an expert on the geography of Zanaga, and speaks many human languages well, and a smattering of other racial tongues, though with a bit of a rasp to his voice.
