Small village is just off the edge of the Estate of Penhaligon

Affectionately referred to as Penhaligin's sister town. The Duke made Stallanford one of the official stops for the Selenica-Kelvin-Specularm trade run. This town is on the edge of Quasqueton province which does serve as a gate way between both major areas. The population is 900 + plus 100 scattered horse and goat herders. Formation: It was formed by the refugees held up outside Penhaligon in the year 993 AC after the unnatural winter that struck northern-eastern parts of the duchy ended. These displaced people, mostly Traladarans, under the care of the retired veteran soldier from Duke Road Keep, Brogan Manescu, formed the village in the Estate with the approval of the late Lord Arturus Penhaligon on condition that this new settlement be named after his deceased friend and fellow knight, Sir Gianis Stallanford. 

 

Town Militia: The village militia consists of volunteers and although most of them do not have military training enough have experienced actual combat during the various humanoid raids upon the village and farmsteads.

 

Churches and Clergy: Both churches haves representatives within villages, which fall under the jurisdiction of their superiors within the town of Penhaligon.

 

Trade: The major products of the village are: goat-cheese and strong dark beer called Stallan’s, horses, trade, wagons, leather goods
