A tabaxi village in the Ischarlin Wilds

As you approach the villiage, you hear the sounds of Borunai to your left and right working among the trees in fields of some kind of grain. There are some children playing beside the river as three Borunai fish with nets in the shallows. Two warriors stand atop a covered tower by the large wooden gate. They swing down on ropes, and a pulley opens the gates before you. Inside the gates you see lether and cloth covered tents and structures, gardens, two large buildings with smoke coming from their rooves.  Looming over the smaller homes is an opan air temple with a brazier burning and smoke bellows into the sky. Dozens living and working in the village stop and stare as you enter. A party of warriors led by a black furred Borunai riding a black and gold fur colored panther approach and stop. 

A village on the Ishan River on the southern tip of the Ischarlin Wilds.  The village is surrounded on three sides by 60 foot high ridges with a 20 foot wooded wall gate on the west. Home of the leader of the Tashix Clan, Covered Mountain.  Pop. 300

When the coasts of the Yashix region began came under near constant threat of the Grey Ax, Covered Mountain chose to run rather than fight. He moved the tribe deep into the ancient valley of Yultic in hopes of cutting off all contact with the south. The Makanta and Jangua Tribes were insulted by this move and likewise ended the contact with the Yashix Tribe. Only the Lisusua maintain trade with the Yashix Tribe. 

The village has 100 trained warriors and 20 panther riders among those 100. The remainder of the population are untrained commoners.
