Bremen is the westernmost settlement of the Ten Towns in Icewind Dale, attracting all manner of gold prospectors, travelers, and treasure hunters. Situated on the southwestern shore of Maer Dualdon, where the Shaengarne River meets the lake, Bremen’s location makes it susceptible to flooding. However, the locals are well-versed in recognizing the signs, and lives are rarely lost as a result.

Originally founded by a group of dwarven prospectors, Bremen has a population of approximately 150 residents. The town is represented by Speaker Dorbulgruf Shalescar, who speaks on behalf of the townsfolk. Rumors circulate about a "lake monster" that has recently appeared in Maer Dualdon, allegedly attacking local fishing boats.
