During a groundbreaking PR mission to San Francisco, Team Alpha—part of Rising Star's spring break initiative—stumbled upon a conspiracy involving the theft of a Titan Missile by a previously unknown organization named Viper. Through their courage and skill, Team Alpha thwarted Viper's plans, earning accolades and an extended break. Yet, their triumph was short-lived when, upon their scheduled return, Team Alpha vanished without a trace, leaving behind a mystery that haunted Rising Star.

The Cuban Missile Crisis thrust Rising Star into the forefront of national defense, with its students and staff mobilizing to defend against the threat of nuclear war. It was a moment where the world teetered on the brink, yet through collective resolve, catastrophe was averted, reaffirming Rising Star's pivotal role in safeguarding global stability.

But the true test came in 1963, when Team Alpha, presumed lost, returned bearing tales of otherworldly battles and dimensional rifts that had reshaped reality itself around Rising Star. Led by instructors like Isis, Rising Star confronted the aftermath of a cosmic struggle against Queen Melikan VI, an inter-dimensional tyrant whose defeat left scars on the fabric of reality, unleashing a cascade of unpredictable consequences across the Arizona desert.

The fractures in reality, initially dismissed as isolated anomalies, soon escalated into a crisis when a mysterious shockwave shattered the boundaries between dimensions, transforming the desert Southwest into a patchwork of Zones, each governed by its own laws of physics and realities. General Thomas Allen Callaway, the stalwart commander of Rising Star, found himself grappling with a fractured world where communication faltered, and the very nature of existence hung in the balance.

As chaos unfolded, General Thomas Allen Callaway's tenure at Rising Star ended abruptly, his resignation a testament to the psychological toll of navigating through shattered realities. His cryptic warnings of ruptured dimensions were met with skepticism, yet whispers of Whisper's disappearance—an enigmatic blind psychic—hinted at deeper truths obscured by the chaos.

Amidst these trials, Rising Star persevered, marking June 1, 1966, as a milestone with its first graduating class. Eight students emerged from its crucible of training, among them pioneers like Vincent Jones, known as the Rocketeer, and the enigmatic Black Panther, who chose paths of service that would redefine the boundaries of heroism and duty.
