Lazuli Bay

In the north Argonian Sea, east of of Argones lies Lazuli Bay. Originally an inlet off the coast of the Hilderayne peninsula, the bay was expanded south during the Battle at Founder's Pass during the War of the Pearls after Lafturikeldravoshrix successfully separated Hilderayne from the mainland. With Hilderayne now an island, the water between it and the mainland became part of the larger bay.

Lazuli Bay is home to the Azureans, a tribe of Sea Elves that immigrated closer to the shores of Argones to escape Sahuagin attacks during the early years of the Third Age. Unfortunately, the Azureans escaped one enemy only to gain another with the Order of the Blessed Ground. Lazuli Bay served as a major theater of war during the War of the Pearls, and after their victory, the Azureans continued to live there in relative isolation while maintaining allegiance to the Harekians.

After the disappearance of Hilderayne following the Silent Dawn, Lazuli Bay has little reason draw attention or traffic. Occasionally,a party of intrepid adventurers become absolutely convinced that Hilderayne merely sank beneath the waves, and decides to journey to the seabed with hopes of stumbling upon treasures untold waiting to be plundered. These adventurers are met with disappointment, as everyone in Harek already had the exact same idea over past half century and yielded no results.
