Little Verdun

After the Battle of the Ridge, many people from Amarillia and Verdun decided to remain in Puckett's Ridge. Those from Verdun were given the blessing (and a small stipend) of Queen Naresa to start new lives in the northwestern portion of Puckett's Ridge. Those from Amarillia were basically told to go fuck themselves, but they remained anyway.

Amarillians who attempted to acclimate are little more than second-class citizens, and the overwhelming Verdunian culture brings a touch of the "big city" to Puckett's Ridge, and a touch more racism toward Amarillian settlers.

Some say that Queen Naresa set this area up keep a watchful eye on Puckett's Ridge after the part the Heroes of the Ridge played in the Assassination of King Jonas. If you ask anyone from there, they'll just look at you derisively for being "quaint" and "local".

Although part of Puckett's Ridge, the people here tend to follow their own customs and culture, and rumor has it that the Qosa'Nostra Family are truly the ones in charge of the neighborhood.
