Trolanport

With its crisscrossing canals and flooded streets, the capital of Kibosh serves as the center of the Gnome ship-building industry (of both the naval and aerial variety) and a nexus for trade.  Built in a convenient location next to the Trolan River, scores of ships make port here daily.  Among the many beautiful things the city is known for are its spectacular thunderstorms.  Crowds gather on balconies and verandas to watch these awesome displays, caused in great part thanks to the shape of the Dragonridge Mountains.

The Tower of Maesters rises over the central portion of the city.  House Durgedown, House Ningle, and House Cannith maintain major enclaves in the city, and the other Dragonmarked Houses station agents here as well.  The House Cannith operation is under the direction of Cannith West, whose baron, Merrix d'Cannith, resides in Sharn.

Trolanport is a center of trade for Argones and one of the major inland departure ports for Xendra, Hell's Reach, and other regions abroad. Traders arrive here regularly from Hosuth, Stormreach, Khundrukar, Amarillia, and even more distant ports. It is said almost anything can be found in the markets, from Q'barran tapestries, to Azinthian blades and incense from the distant Seren Islands.
