Axion, with its vast Magic-Users’ College, sharp class divisions, and thriving economy, stands as a metropolis where the collision of magic, trade, and social dynamics creates a unique, ever-buzzing atmosphere. Each area of the city is alive with its own energy, and it's this diversity that fuels Axion’s status as a major player in Kharizar.

The northwest side of Axion bustles with activity but shows the grittier reality of city life. The housing here is cramped and in disrepair, with narrow alleyways winding between poorly maintained buildings. The large open area is teeming with tent shops and temporary stalls, where traders who can't afford permanent buildings sell their wares. It’s chaotic, vibrant, and loud, with the scent of street food mingling with the buzz of haggling. Despite the poverty, there’s an undercurrent of resilience, and it’s here that the most innovative street magicians and fledgling craftsmen often emerge.

The western side is markedly different, with wide, clean streets and grand townhouses that signal wealth and influence. The elite of Axion, including influential magic users, scholars, and trade masters, reside here. Manicured gardens and fountains dot this area, and the finest artisans have their workshops here—crafting enchanted items, high-quality armor, and intricate magical devices. The region is also home to the unions of various crafting trades, ensuring that the powerful guilds have a stronghold in the city’s economy. The air here is quieter, the conversations more hushed, as deals and alliances are struck in well-appointed parlors.

Running along the northern wall, Temple Row is a spectacle of devotion and architectural grandeur. The temples here are staggered and range in style from towering spires of white marble to smaller, intricately carved stone shrines. Each temple is dedicated to different deities, representing the city's diversity. As you walk down Temple Row, you can hear priests reciting prayers, smell incense wafting through the air, and see elaborate rituals being performed. This area is quieter, more contemplative, but still attracts regular traffic as worshippers from all walks of life come to pay their respects.  A small group of disreputable persons stand near the floating temple of Q found behind the temples of Gra'al and Llewellyn.

The bulk of Axion’s population lives in the middle-class districts that weave throughout the city. The houses here are comfortable but modest, with most families owning small businesses or working for the more influential trades. The streets are lined with bustling shops selling everything from basic foodstuffs to common enchanted trinkets. Inns and taverns are lively in this area, with travelers, students, and merchants mingling. The middle class plays a vital role in keeping Axion running smoothly, with shopkeepers, artisans, and laborers all contributing to the city's economic engine.
