- born 1972
Background
Gamer since 1989, GMing since 1992
Been gaming since I forced my boyfriend in my senior year of High School to teach me the game with the pretty dice.
I started with Rolemaster / Middle Earth Role Playing game, and Paranoia.
I didn't try Dungeons and Dragons until I joined SGS (Strategic Gaming Society) at Southern Illinois University in College. While at SGS I played and GMed such games as: Rifts, Gurps, Dangerous Journeys, Sword Bearer, Marvel (the Red/Yellow/Green chart), Champions, ShadowRun, White Wolf World of Darkness, Car Wars, Chthulu, Lace and Steel, Oriental Adventures, D&D, AD&D 1st, AD&D 2nd, AD&D 2.5, Earthdawn, Robotech, Mech Warrior, Amber the Diceless RPG, Ninjas and Super Spies, Renegade Nuns on Wheels, Beach Bunny Bimbos with guns, Several Steve Jackson Games I can not place the names of, various others I can't remember.
Upon Leaving School I picked up on some of the other White Wolf games: The AEon Trinity, The more esoteric parts of World of Darkness (Demon, Mummy, Orpheus, etc), Exalted. I also got into Hero System, I also started collecting games that No one would ever play in order to get ideas for Fluff text for campaigns.
Later have worked on creating a RPG that we intend on eventually publishing: PAGE-X, that uses my favorite aspects of: Hero System (Modified Powers), Shadow Run (Individually Exploding Dice), White Wolf (Attribute+Skill), GURPs (Multi-Genre).
Then there is the project/Game I came to Scabard to organize. Due to several people in my gaming group liking the LitRPG genre of books and movies/tv shows. I am trying to run a game called MMPVRRPG Massively Multi Player Virtual Reality Role Playing Game. Never to be published, just enjoyed since I am stealing heavily from the Aleron King The Land books and beefing them up with other similar stories/sources.
