Morgrave University

Morgrave University is the largest institute of learning in Hosuth. While it’s not as prestigious as Arcanix or the Library of Korranberg, Morgrave is known for its unorthodox methods and hands-on style of teaching. If you want to learn about the history of Sharn, what better way than to explore the ancient ruins below the city? Critics say that Morgrave is a college of tomb robbers, and much of its endowment does come from the sale of artifacts recovered on its expeditions.

Morgrave University is an asset for sages conducting research and a source of potential patrons. It can also be the foundation of a heroic fantasy seen through the eyes of students.

Though it may not be the most respectable institution of higher learning in Argones, Morgrave University has an extensive Library that boasts definitive collections of lore in certain fields, particularly arcana, dungeoneering, geography, and history. Characters seeking knowledge in any of these fields or others ought to be able to find resources in the library to aid their search. The university is an excellent source of sages who hire their services out on a short- or long-term basis. Even those who profess to be sages but have no connection to the university tend to cluster around Morgrave, with their homes and businesses almost all located in the University District, as well as the Den'iyas and Ivy Towers districts of Upper Menthis.

Baron Merrix d'Cannith is a firm supporter of Morgrave University, and has donated vast sums of money to help fund research conducted by the institution.  Leftenant Commander Lambrose Baccus has also been known to donate to the university on occasion.

Hentember 5001 - Present (Chaalmarch 5003) - Benjamin Octavius began studying at Morgrave University under the tutelage of a Cleric of Pelor (although certainly not a member of the Suns of Pelor).
