I started playing D&D in 1983 with the Basic Set. My friends and I played through the mid 90's, skipped 4th edition and continued playing online in 2019. I have been a dungeon master for over one hundred 5th edition D&D games at the table and online (most at tables at game stores in my area). This DM believes in a balance of character-driven and well-written storylines that can and do change with the PCs' choices and actions. Everyone -- every player of D&D -- should be able to feel heroic and have fun whether they've played for ten years or ten days. This game is for everyone, and cooperation between players and player characters is essential. I also believe that D&D is better when it isn't a video game on a table, meaning that D&D is as much about role playing, improvisation and story telling as it is about combat, game rules or canon world settings. The world I love and frequently play in is Greyhawk, because that's where I started as a player, and that's where IT started.
