This region swells with the majestic presence of the inner mountains, whose towering peaks loom over valleys steeped in history and hidden dangers. With an area of approximately 500,000 square kilometers (Spain+France), it is a land scarred by both nature's wrath and the bloodshed of countless conflicts, inhabited by around 462,000 hardy souls who call this unforgiving terrain home. (ie 0,8 person pr square km, similar to medieval Siberia)

The Northern Reach, a bleak desolation shrouded in solitude at the northern edges of Mub, sprawls under a cruel and silent sky. Its austerity is not marked by winter's bite, nor sweltering sands, but by nature's dark caress—a vast expanse where life's flame sputters weakly, nearly extinguished.

The Northern Reach is a juxtaposition of wild beauty and treachery:

• Mountainous Landscapes: To the north and east stand the mighty Ringing Mountains, which rise like sentinels above the land. Their slopes are treacherous, filled with dark caves that whisper forgotten secrets and valleys where few dare to tread.   
• Rugged Terrain: The western borders are dominated by jagged cliffs and rocky outcrops, intertwining pathways that map a dangerous but essential route across Karesh's harsh locales.

Inhabitants and Culture

Home to mainly Stormber tribes, the Northern Reach is a tapestry of resilient cultures and fierce warriors. Three bands patrol the area:

• Egységben Erő (Strength in Unity)    

  • Territory: The western expanse.   

  • Role: Focused on border security, they ensure the protection of the rugged trails and trade routes.   

  • Leadership: Commanded by Zsófia the Vengeful, known for her unyielding resolve in defending her people.   

  • Values: Deeply rooted in unity and cooperation, they embody the idea that strength comes from togetherness.

• Hősök Utódai (Descendants of Heroes):   

  • Territory: The central plains and hills where legends are carved into the land.  

  • Role: These nomads honor the heroic deeds of their ancestors, patrolling ancestral lands while preserving traditions of valor and resilience.    

  • Lifestyle: Experts in mounted combat and survival, drawn upon their rigorous training to adapt to ever-changing challenges.

• Vándor Csillagok (Wandering Stars):   

  • Territory: The eastern fringes, navigating through dangerous territories and treacherous mountains.   

  • Role: Scouts and pathfinders, their skills in reconnaissance are invaluable, providing the tribe insights into threats and potential resources.   

  • Attributes: Esteemed for their adaptability and ingenuity, they thrive in unpredictable environments, often finding innovative solutions to seemingly insurmountable problems.

Inhabitants: These forsaken lands, as barren as a pauper’s coin purse, house a mere handful of foolhardy souls, stubborn as stone, tracing their lineage back to a time when the world was still young and rich with promise. Far from the invasive touch of civilization, they dwell in forgotten hamlets like whisper-quiet echoes of a long-lost era.

Culture: Born of this land's relentless grip, their customs are as harsh and unmalleable as the frozen earth beneath their feet.
