K1c Exinate Excavation

The excavation is literally a hole in the earth filled with once beautiful Khaori granite buildings. Between the buildings are handmade tents and wooden structures among pools of stagnant waters.

Under the structure, The Expeditioners discovered a large cavern excavated during Vital McGillam's first expedition. The location was infested with carnivorous plants.  In the abandoned camp, party discovered several notes left behind by the crew.

They had no use for the central Khaori structure which was excavated by the Exinates.  Inside are research materials and old maps of the region, scribal materials, minor finds left behind for later retrieval - plates, hilts, etc with Khaori inscriptions. Messy handwritten notes from McGillam explaining the finds (and that he suspects the real finds are at K1a).

Key Note: "McGillam believes there may be artifacts behind a large wall that may hold clues the exact layout of the Cliffs of Insanity and therefore the location to the hidden entrance to Khaoritan at K1a, K2, K3, and K4"

Explanations that the map to Khaoritan is literally the destroyed metropolis of Khaoritan canal network that is now dry chasms protected by a powerful permanent illusion cast by the last dragons of Sycharia to seal off Khaoritan from discovery forever. 

Inside the ancient structure was discovered a magical device call the Semi-Sentient Arcane Mapping Servant.
